The event brought together acclaimed artists, friends, and family to share behind-the-scenes stories and perform classic songs, honoring Prine’s enduring legacy. Prine, widely celebrated as one of history’s greatest songwriters, captivated millions of fans and earned the admiration of icons such as Bonnie Raitt, Brandi Carlile, Tyler Childers, Lucinda Williams, Dwight Yoakam, Jason Isbell, and Bob Weir, amongst many others, are featured in the film performing on the Ryman stage for this special celebration of his life and music.

Mastering Thrown Forms w/ Hsin-Chuen Lin

Join Clayroom San Mateo for this immersive two-day intensive workshop designed for advanced wheel throwers looking to elevate surface decoration techniques. Hsin will demonstrate his meticulous methods for enhancing wheel-thrown forms, including chattering, sgraffito carving at the leather-hard stage, sodium silicate crackle effects, and roller textures applied before volumizing. Participants will have hands-on time to experiment with tools and techniques, with additional instruction tailored to individual interests. This workshop includes one 25 lb bag of midrange clay, bisque and glaze firing services, basic throwing and trimming tools, sodium silicate, slips, and Leslie's brand underglazes. Please bring any special throwing tools, paint brushes, underglazes, etc if desired.
