Music Director Yannick Nézet-Séguin takes the podium for Michael Mayer’s spectacular new staging, which brings audiences inside the towering pyramids and gilded tombs of ancient Egypt with intricate projections and dazzling animations. Mezzo-soprano Judit Kutasi, following her 2024 debut in Verdi’s La Forza del Destino, is Aida’s Egyptian rival Amneris, and tenor Piotr Beczała is the soldier Radamès—completing opera’s greatest love triangle. The all-star cast also features baritone Quinn Kelsey as Amonasro and bass Dmitry Belosselskiy as Ramfis.

Dolby Family's Opera For the Bay

San Francisco Opera is partnering with the Dolby Family to provide a ticketing benefit to the residents of the Bay. Two $10 tickets in great seating locations for Bay Area residents are available for one performance during the 2024/25 Season. These tickets go on sale one month prior to the opening of each production and are available for a limited time while supplies last! The first tickets for the production of La Bohème will go on sale April 22, 2025.
