Dolby Family's Opera For the Bay

San Francisco Opera is partnering with the Dolby Family to provide a ticketing benefit to the residents of the Bay. Two $10 tickets in great seating locations for Bay Area residents are available for one performance during the 2024/25 Season. These tickets go on sale one month prior to the opening of each production and are available for a limited time while supplies last! The first tickets for the production of La Bohème will go on sale April 22, 2025.

Experience an awe-inspiring performance of Beethoven's opera 'Fidelio,' starring soprano Lise Davidsen as the courageous Leonore who risks everything to save her husband, the political prisoner Florestan, played by tenor David Butt Philip. The cast also features renowned artists such as bass-baritone Tomasz Konieczny as the menacing Don Pizarro, and veteran bass Renée Pape as Rocco. The production is conducted by Susanna Mälkki and explores powerful themes of tyranny and freedom, offering a modern resonance with current societal issues.
