Angel Island Project

The Angel Island Project presented by Oakland Ballet features a live musical accompaniment by Del Sol Quartet and Volti, conducted by Dr. Wei Cheng. The performance is scored for a string quartet, sixteen singers, and a narrator, reflecting on poetry carved by detainees at the immigration station between 1910 and 1940.
