About this event

Join us for an evening of conversation as we explore how cutting-edge science is reshaping our understanding of the brain. Hosted by UCSF Associate Professor, Danielle Swaney, We’ll hear from Dr. Matt State, a leading expert in psychology and psychiatric genetics, who takes the stage for a flash talk presentation, “Fact, fiction and the future of Autism Spectrum Disorder Research.” Dr. State will then be joined by Victoria Colliver, an award-winning journalist and storyteller, for an intimate fireside chat exploring the human, cultural, and the dimensions of neuropsychiatric research. The evening concludes with an open audience Q&A, inviting the public into the conversation. This event is part of The Night of Science, a public series designed to make science accessible, relevant, and deeply human.
