Join artist and sculptor Austyn Taylor for a hands-on, two-day workshop on solid sculpting abstracted animal forms. The workshop includes intuitive sketches and clay modeling. The first day includes instruction on creating rotational sculptures, focusing on form, weight, and clarity of line. The second day involves techniques for hollowing out forms for successful firing. Participants get 25 lbs of clay, hands-on instruction, and access to tools for their sculpting journey. The workshop is set for September 5th and 6th, starting at 7 PM on the first day and from 11 AM to 5 PM on the subsequent days.
