Join Brooklyn-based artist Camila Lim-Hing for a hand-building workshop where participants will create a 'sleepy' pinch pot while learning the fundamentals of figurative face sculpting in clay. Using simple pinch pot construction as a base, attendees will add personality and emotion to their creations through features, textures, and subtle shaping techniques. The design, inspired by Camila's family, can be customized to reflect your own. Participants are encouraged to bring a photo or mirror for reference. With over ten years of ceramic experience, Camila combines functionality, sculpture, and design in her work, drawing from her multicultural background.
