Bohème Out of the Box

San Francisco Opera is taking opera out of the Opera House for Bohème Out of the Box. These free, live performances of an abridged version of Giacomo Puccini’s La Bohème, featuring powerful emotions and soaring arias, will travel to outdoor locations throughout the Bay Area this spring. Directed by Jose Maria Condemi, the performances will be sung in Italian with live English translations available on smartphones. Families with young children are invited to participate in a First Act Workshop before the show. Performance dates, time, and locations are subject to change.
