Join Clayroom San Mateo for this highly anticipated two-day workshop led by nerikomi master, Courtney Hassmann! This hands-on workshop will focus on the Japanese technique known as 'nerikomi,' which involves mixing and pressing multiple colors of clay together to create designs. Students will learn how to create a repeating pattern with different clay colors, enhancing their work with color and unique style. Day 1: Monday, June 16: 5:30 - 9:00PM. Day 2: Tuesday, June 17: 5:30 - 9:00PM. Day one will focus on prepping the clay, while day two focuses on constructing pieces. Clayroom San Mateo staff will glaze pieces clear for non-members.
