Sharing Our Truths Through the Power of Comics with Rina Ayuyang

Join award-winning Bay Area cartoonist and writer Rina Ayuyang for a hands-on workshop where you will create your own comic. This workshop explores how comics can serve as a powerful artistic medium for healing, sharing stories, documenting history, celebrating culture, and empowering the Asian American and Pacific Islander community. This program is free with museum general admission, but space is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.

The Asian Art Museum of San Francisco offers free docent-led tours of its extensive collection, featuring over 18,000 works of art spanning 6,000 years of Asian history. Participants can join the tour without an advance reservation. To begin, simply visit the Information Desk on the ground floor at the scheduled time. Please note that museum admission is required to participate in the tour.
