Join us for a walking tour through the Botanical Garden and learn all about the history and importance of the magnolia collection. Led by our Director of Collections and Conservation, this tour includes inside stories and insights into one of our most beautiful collections. Each tour runs for approximately an hour and a half and includes garden admission. Remember to meet at the San Francisco Botanical Garden Main Gate kiosk. Heavy rain or low attendance may lead to cancellation.

Venture into the Randall Museum’s new live animal exhibit, Wild in California, and join one of the animal keepers in an open discussion about the museum’s wildlife residents. Learn how the keepers care for the animals and how and where these creatures live in the wild. Kids and families will meet some of the animals up-close and can ask the keeper questions to find out more about their favorites. Visitors can meet a snake, check out a barn owl, or maybe even touch a tortoise.
Join the Randall Museum for an engaging and creative art workshop tailored for families on Saturday afternoons. Participants will have the opportunity to drop by the museum's Art Room, where experienced instructors will lead hands-on art activities suitable for all ages. This drop-in workshop offers a taste of the museum's arts and crafts programs and is an excellent way for parents and children to explore their creativity together. Children under 8 must be accompanied by a paying adult, making it a great bonding experience for families. The event runs every Saturday from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM, and registration can be done at the front desk. There is a nominal fee of $10 for each parent-child combo and $5 for any additional children.
