Jamie xx
Jamie xx is a British composer, performer, music producer, and artist, and is one of three members of The xx. In 2015 he released his GRAMMY, Brit, Ivor Novello and Mercury Music Prize-nominated debut solo album In Colour on Young. On September 20, 2024, nine years on from the release of his globally revered debut album, Jamie returned to release his sophomore album In Waves (Young), out now. The new album features guest appearances from Robyn, The Avalanches, Kelsey Lu, John Glacier, Panda Bear, and his xx bandmates Oliver Sim and Romy, replicating the emotional crescendos and thrilling volatility of a mystical night out at the club. Jamie has toured widely, both as a member of The xx and as a solo artist, performing at venues ranging from small underground clubs to sold-out arenas and major festivals around the world. A staggeringly innovative artist whose music crosses lines of pop, jazz, soul, and the avant-garde, Thai-Swedish vocalist and composer Sirintip brings her bone-deep and ethereal sound to the Joe Henderson Lab as part of the 2025 Noise Pop festival. Sirintip Phasuk, who grew up in Bangkok and later moved to Sweden, explores themes of otherness and connection through her music. A finalist in the 2015 Thelonious Monk Institute of Jazz International Vocal Competition, she has collaborated with renowned artists and released albums that have garnered critical acclaim. Her latest project, MYCELIUM, explores the bonds between humanity and nature.
