This marks the first phase of the visionary environmentally sustainable redevelopment that will ultimately deliver over 8,000 homes. The first wave of new housing is opening alongside vibrant retail, restaurants, and community spaces. Major infrastructure projects like a sustainably designed wastewater treatment plant and the Hillcrest Road Improvement project are supporting the island’s growth and resilience. Recreational amenities are expanding rapidly, highlighted by new public parks, sculpture, trails, and hundreds of acres of open space and wetlands.
