Join local Oakland artist Chinzalée Sonami for a two-day workshop on glaze color theory at Clayroom Potrero. Participants will explore color glazing techniques inspired by Josef Albers' Interaction of Color, experimenting with glaze layering and resist techniques. The workshop includes hands-on activities where students will create test tiles and engage in color exercises and open studio time. Learn how different glazes shift in hue, value, and saturation, and finish with intentional, expressive surface designs on clay.
