Join us for a serene Forest Bathing Walk on February 2, 2025, at the San Francisco Botanical Garden. This mindful experience, inspired by the Japanese tradition of shinrin-yoku, invites participants to immerse themselves in nature, engaging all their senses. Participants will enjoy the calming sights, sounds, and smells of the forest while guided by gentle prompts. Research indicates that spending time in nature can significantly reduce stress, enhance mood, and strengthen overall well-being. The event is open to those aged 12 and older. Bring water and dress in warm layers.

Join this movement-based class focused on improving core strength, posture, and balance. This class invites adults of all ages to practice safe and effective exercises that improve overall well-being and posture. Led by certified Pilates instructor Virginia Chatham, who incorporates her extensive training to enhance participants' experiences, you will learn techniques that can alleviate low back pain, enhance mobility, and boost confidence. The classes run from August 19, 2024, to May 19, 2025, excluding specific holidays.

Chair yoga is a supportive and gentle way to increase flexibility, bone density, range of motion, body awareness, and mindfulness. Perfect for those with arthritis, mobility challenges, recovering from injury or those who want to learn with others. We’ll utilize a sequence of postures to help reeducate and realign the body, lessen stress and anxiety, assist with healing, increase stability and improve bone density and muscular strength. This class is taught by Robin Hall, a Yoga Instructor with a wealth of experience in adaptive yoga programs.
