About this event

Join artist Amanda Bury for a 2-day hands-on workshop where you'll explore the newsprint transfer technique on leather-hard clay surfaces. The workshop is designed for artists at all skill levels and will provide demonstrations, guidance on image composition, and skills for creating your own custom transfers. Expect to create a practice piece and gain insights from Amanda's extensive background in ceramics. This immersive experience will cover preparing slabs, applying colored slips, and image transferring. All materials are included in the workshop, but personal tools are recommended.
